Abstract :
In this paper the state space model is available for the permanent magnet (PM) direct current (DC) motor drive. The simulation results using the motor model shows the transient response for different applied voltage and load torques. Also, motor behavior for different parameters of proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controller using eigenvalue is studied.
