Abstract
The effect of cooling water on thermal efficiency, power requirement, and heat transfer surface area has been studied by connecting the absorber and condenser of the refrigeration system in series and in parallel. It has been observed that vapor absorption systems became economically viable as compared with vapor compression systems under certain refrigeration capacities and cooling water temperatures
