  • Abstract
We report on experiences gained in an exercise for peer training carried out at several universities in East Africa. The goal of this initiative is to train peers for evaluating degree programs in the field of computing. The peer training is a joint initiative of the German Academic Exchange Service, DAAD, and the Inter University Council for East Africa, IUCEA. Its ultimate goal is to establish a quality assurance system at East African universities which guarantees that degree programs meet international standards.
