Abstract :
A new method for MPPT in photovoltaic panels is described in the paper. The proposed method is based on the technique named Extremum Seeking Control and incorporates an enhancement to tune the MPPT parameters based on Newton-Raphson Searching Method. The paper describes the different diagram blocks of the proposed MPPT and compares the performances with and without the enhancement by means of PSIM simulations. The paper corroborates the different transient behaviors and the reliability of each MPPT solution.
