Abstract
This paper discusses the design and performance of a four port S-band multi-function MMIC. The multi-function chip consist of a 6-bit phase shifter, 6-bit attenuator, transmit receive switches, a low noise amplifier, a medium power amplifier and integrated LVCMOS control logic. It is shown that excellent results have been obtained for the presented multi-function chip which has been realised in the low cost high volume PP50-11 0.5 mum PHEMT process of WIN Semiconductors.
