Abstract :
In this paper we present a novel algorithm for the segmentation of bony tissues in MR images. Our approach is based on the level set algorithm. We have already been dealt with this problem in a recent paper. However, the previous work still presented some problems, particularly as regards the completeness of the results. This work provides significant improvements and it improves the results as you can see in the experimental phase results.
