  • Abstract
    This research focuses on the graphical support for the operator of the Georgia Tech Payload Operations Control Center (GT-POCC) system simulation. This support is in the form of inspectable objects that constitute the GT-POCC environment and real-time animation of data flow between objects. Furthermore, the operator can view the system at a variety of levels of abstraction. Such visualization enhances both tutoring and aiding; the novice operator is better able to understand system events and behavior, and the experienced operator has tools available to conceptualize a problem and explore potential solutions
