Abstract
This paper proposes a hybrid islanding detection technology including local techniques and remote techniques. A pulse current injection scheme is proposed as active method of local technique to find out non-detection zone. Combine the remote techniques by power line communication scheme with islanding detection completely. Using pulse current injection method can detect islanding system faster than 0.167 cycles. Mixed with the power line communication method it will be fast, stable and accurate technology for distributed generation systems. Finally, this performance follows IEEE-1547 and IEEE-929 standards are validated by simulation and experimental results.
