            Abstract : 
In this paper, broadband frequency doubler employing lead-beam Schottky diodes in a planar balun configuration, consisted of coplanar waveguide, slot-line and micro-strip, is presented. Good performance for output frequency up to K-band (16.5 ~ 25 GHz) are obtained by utilizing some available commercial CAD software. This low-cost multiplier is useful to generate the wide band local oscillator signals required in many wideband systems.
