Abstract :
Parametric excitation of surface cyclotron waves by a non-monochromatic variable electric field is studied numerically under the conditions of weak plasma spatial dispersion and small amplitudes of the pumping electric field. By using nonlinear boundary conditions an infinite set of equations for the initial stage of the parametric instability is obtained. The effect of the considered plasma waveguide system on the instability growth rates is studied
