Title :
Structure of the local Alfven resonance in cylindrical plasmas placed into rippled magnetic field
Abstract :
Conditions are determined under which axial modulation of the steady magnetic field affects significantly the structure of the local Alfven resonance (AR) in quasi-cylindrical plasma fusion devices. The behaviour of the Alfven wave (AW) electromagnetic fields within the AR region is studied utilizing the perturbation theory and “narrow slab” approach
