Abstract :
The structure and the properties of the optimized double integration sigma-delta modulator are investigated. The structure of the modulator is optimized so that the noise shaping property in the baseband is maximized. The stability requirements are taken into consideration. The node voltages of the modulator are evaluated, and the global transfer function optimum where the two feedback coefficients are equal to 0.5 is found. Integrator voltage scaling for practical implementation is proposed
