Abstract :
This paper is aimed to the analysis of the inclusion of a pulse width modulated (PWM) AC link unified power flow controller into a power flow and the transient stability formulation in order to regulate the active and reactive power flow on the corresponding transmission line. Such model is tested on a multi-machine power system.
