Abstract :
In this paper, a robust timing and frequency synchronization method in the presence of narrowband interference is proposed for 230MHz electricity communication system. A narrowband interference detection module and an adaptive filter are applied in the synchronization approach. The former one is to find the narrowband disturbance that has larger power and provide information to configure the adaptive filter, the latter one is to attenuate the detected narrowband interference to a large extent. Simulation results illustrate that the proposed synchronization scheme significantly outperforms the classic synchronization in the case of narrowband interference.
