Abstract
A low noise amplifier (LNA) with high linearity is presented in wireless body area networks (WBANs) for medical facility application. Under low voltage operation, a body-biased technique is utilized in order to save the power dissipation. Undistorted biomedical signals from wireless receivers can be collected and amplified by using linearized compensation method to achieve high linearity. The proposed LNA is simulated with TSMC 180nm process parameters. The simulation results show that the designed LNA can obtain characteristics of both low voltage operation and high linearity successfully without sacrificing power consumption and noise figure.
