Abstract :
To support life cycle management, a basic model for the creation of a structured product family is presented and examples are given. The concepts of a novel dynamic modularisation method, metrics for modularisation and design for configurability are presented. Life cycle of the modular system, LCMS, as a part of the measurement system for the evaluation of modularization, has been developed
