Abstract :
Outline and some results of performance evaluation tests of a compact transmitter is described, which is onboard a tiny satellite for atmospheric water vapor observations. Output power of the transmitter is nominally 200 mW. Size of 70 mm times 60 mm times 30 mm and weight of 145 grams are achieved by using commercial-based latest components. From preliminary tests we have found that the transmitter satisfies requirements of the satellite.
