The relationship between the intensity of South Asia High (SAH) and North Atlantic sea surface temperature is further explored. The result shows not only Pacific Ocean and Indian Ocean sea surface temperature (SST) can affect SAH, but the North Atlantic SST can also have impact on SAH. The correlation coefficients between SAH intensity index (SI) and North-Atlantic index (NAI) is beyond 0.7 leading one month, and it keep beyond 0.5 for lag 5 months. Composite of geopotential height at 100 hPa imply that SAH is enhanced (weaken) during warm (cold) phase of North Atlantic, which affirm the correlation analysis.
