Abstract
The aim of this paper is to present the validation of a simple relay-based PID autotuner with user-specified modulus margin. The testing is made on relevant benchmark systems proposed for evaluating PID controller design methods. Based on prior art results, the performance of the autotuner is then compared to other PID controllers from literature.
