Abstract :
Water filtration and decantation, although greatly reduce the amount of microorganisms contained in it, doesn´t give a full guarantee of their final removal. To remove all microorganisms it is applied the water disinfection. The paperwork presents a structure of specific automatic processes with predominant dead time, such as the technological installation for water disinfection from Gilau Water Treatment Plant. To illustrate the advantages of implementing the prediction control structure, in parallel is determined a classic automated system, following the comparison of performance by the two methods of control.
