Abstract :
The paper presents the faults detection and localization method using residual vectors, in order to emphasize the disturbances and faults on the outputs Ta2 and Ta3 of the steam temperature from superheaters. The control system temperature was developed under Matlab Simulink with a PI controller. Depending on the fault followed to be detected one can make configurations to define the residues with the proper implementation of the weighting matrices. The proposed method was theoretically developed and experimentally verified on the superheaters model.
