Abstract :
Field surveillance through computer and data collection system can be comparatively in high risk under rigorous mine environment such as inflammability, explicability, high humidity, lots of dust, distributed surveillance fields and long distance etc. Thus, designing a platform with high adaptability is extreme important and urgent. This paper analyzes the platform selection carefully, and furthermore, discusses the communication mechanism and data compression standard deeply. As a result, a solution of embedded surveillance platform that can be used in special environment is designed and implemented. Finally the applied intelligent surveillance system is showed.
