Abstract
Summary form only given, as follows. A near-field antenna-array probe is used to perform subwavelength imaging on objects buried λ/4 beneath the surface of a dielectric slab. Short passive dipole objects are detected by monitoring the input reflection coefficient of the probe as it is scanned over the dielectric. Experimental measurements are presented that verify the subwavelength imaging behavior. A minimum resolvable separation between two objects was measured to be 0.295λ, compared to 0.639λ for a single monopole probe.
