Abstract
This paper describes the implementation of a prototype platform designed for the experimentation in the development of a non-invasive retinal prosthesis. The platform presented here is highly programmable and reconfigurable as required for experimentation. It provides retinomorphic encoding and optoelectronic stimulation. The purpose of the project is to develop, in the near future, an optoelectronic retinal prosthetic device.
