Abstract :
Three 3000-kW geothermal turbogenerator units that have been in successful commercial operation since 1981 in Tibet are discussed. Because of shortage of conventional energy in that region, a double-flash-cycle system was chosen to obtain maximal electrical output. The design features of the units and operational experience with them are described. Suggestions for their optimization are given
