Abstract :
The efficient administration and treatment of municipal and industrial wastewater is crucial to sustaining community health and a clean, safe environment. Applying standard SCADA solutions has a positive impact on the operations, maintenance, process development and savings for the wastewater treatment plants (WWTP). This paper describes a SCADA software application implemented on wastewater treatment plant relating to the architecture, the interface to the process hardware, the functionality and capabilities to create a comprehensive real-time applications management environment for a modern wastewater operation.
