Abstract :
In this paper, a mono-cone setup which contain a ground plane and a cone is manufactured to form a standard UWB-SP field. The rigorous analysis of E-field distributing in the monocone has been provided. A D-dot sensor has been calibrated in the monocone. The results of the calibration experiment indicate that the monocone can form an accurately known E-field under the excited of a peak-to-peak width of 500 ps pulse. The measurement results of equivalent area Aeq is consistent with the calculated results and the simulation results.
