Abstract :
Initially this work presents and compares the capacities of multi-cell and power constrained DS/CDMA systems, in the single-class case (voice) with conventional and SIC (successive interference cancellation) detection schemes, determining the maximum number of users for both modes. Next, modelling and results proposed in the literature are extended for multi-cell dual-class systems (voice and data services), comparing the maximum data rates (or data throughputs) obtained with conventional, SIC and scheduling schemes, for some user configurations
