Abstract
Conventional search methods are summarized as heuristic 1D extreme-value searching, and their shortcomings are also analyzed. Heuristic 1D as well as multi-dimensional λ-cut searching are proposed as a new and effective search method, and these can be used as real-time inference methods. A heuristic search method using production rules is also discussed
