Abstract :
Summary form only given, as follows. This paper presents a fully integrated self-quenched super-regenerative impulse-FM-UWB transceiver architecture. The design architecture consists of two different LC self-quenched oscillators tuned at 3.5GHz and 4.5GHz, implemented in 0.18um CMOS technology. The self quenched filter consumes 1mW and 1.5mW from a 1.5V supply in transmit and receive modes, respectively. UWB signal to in-band interferer ratio of −36 dB is achieved for a data rate of 2Mbit/s and a sensitivity of −95dBm.
