Abstract :
In this paper, we present an accurate and computational-efficient BEM based on integral equations called guided-mode extracted integral equations (GMEIEs) for CAD of dielectric branching waveguide circuits. The advantage of this BEM is that it is possible to solve the problem without using mode-expansion techniques of open waveguide structures. So the method is very suitable for use in CAD of dielectric waveguide circuits. As an example a two dimensional branching waveguide is considered
