Abstract :
Piezoelectric transducers are used for harvesting electrical power from mechanical vibrations and supplying low power applications. The AC-DC converter for piezoelectric energy harvesting applications presented in this paper is a modified version of the Parallel Synchronized Switch Harvesting on Inductor (SSHI) Converter. This modified version provides better results in terms of efficiency than the Parallel SSHI technique.
