Abstract :
Because the frequency interval of the PCAL (Phase Calibration) signal is a finite number of discrete values, when measuring the delay of the terminal device using PCAL signal, it cannot solve the delay ambiguity by infinitely reduce the measurement aperture. Aiming at this problem, a kind of delay ambiguity solving method based on Chinese Remainder Theorem(CRT) is proposed. Using several measured delay values with ambiguity, the real unambiguous delay of the terminal device can be obtained. Experiment results show that the new method can exactly solve the unambiguous delay of the terminal device, and the precision of delay estimating can reach 0.1ns.
