Abstract
A modified method of the Riemann-Hilbert problem is proposed for analyzing guided waves in a shielded microstrip line (MSL). In this paper the method is illustrated by an example, namely the analysis of the dispersion characteristics of a microstrip line. The dispersion characteristics for the microstrip line are computed over a wide frequency band including the resonance region
