  • Abstract
A prototype solar Stirling cycle engine alternator has been constructed and tested. The flight model is scheduled to be tested in the mid-1990s on the second flight mission of the Space Flyer Unit (SFU). This prototype, designated IAS-200, is a scaled-down version (200 W of electric output power) of the flight model, but its construction is the same. The design of IAS-200 and the latest test results are discussed
