Abstract :
Because the quality of Internet video is low generally, high-definition video will be the mainstream trend of Internet video in the future. The use of application-layer multicast technology carrying high-definition video broadcast service can effectively reduce the cost of network construction and resolve the problems which exist in P2P and traditional CDN technologies. By analyzing the principle of application layer multicast, a new network architecture based on application layer multicast technology is put forward. Meanwhile, the features, business models, user promotion strategies and key processes of the high-definition video broadcast service are analyzed.
