Abstract :
The method of physical-statistics prediction of geoelectric sections (GES) of stratified natural medium basic types has been developed. It takes into account physical processes in the medium of different space-time scales. The methodology of small and large-scale geoelectric mapping has been grounded and elaborated in detail. The prediction maps of GES of Australia, New Zealand and New Guinea have been compiled. In order to provide maps it is necessary to test the prediction by direct measurements of surface impedance
