Abstract
The portable adaptive test set (PATS) makes it possible to increase the availability of aircraft in forward areas while enhancing technician efficiency. PATS is a transportable test system equivalent to Harris/GSSD´s ATS (V)1 and emulates the radar test set testing of the APG/65 radar and electronic warfare testing done by the RF/ATMSS. PATS utilizes the latest technologies, including VXI instrument on a card (IOAC), portable maintenance aid, lightweight material, and the Unix operating system
