Abstract :
In Wireless Sensor and Actuator Networks (WSANs), the good connectivity is one of the most important prerequisites to ensure them working properly. Especially for the inter-actuator networks in WSANs, the connectivity is crucial for actuators to cooperate with each other to execute tasks correctly and efficiently. The paper proposes a Vertex-cut based Topology Repair algorithm (CVTR) which can maintain the connectivity of inter-actuator networks through relocating one-hop neighbors of failure nodes. The simulation experiment results show that CVTR can more effectively repair the connectivity of inter-actuator networks with much lower coverage loss and less number of nodes moved, comparing with the important and typical algorithm RIM.
