Abstract :
Summary form only given, as follows. A tri-band dual-mode filter, which is fabricated in a pHEMT technology, is presented in this paper. This filter is designed using stacked ring resonators with individual perturbations and feeding capacitors; thus, 3-dB bandwidths and center frequencies of three pass bands can be flexibly controlled. A new filter model that considers coupling effects between ring resonators is first proposed, and a design method that can find all element values based on required passband features is described.
