Abstract :
Based on a weighted network model, this paper investigates cascading failures in heterogeneous coupled map lattice, found that when the network becomes more heterogeneous, the scale of the cascading failures becomes smaller when the attacked node is randomly selected, however, under the attack large; the scale of the cascading failures changes no longer when the attacked node with biggest degree is specially selected.
