Abstract :
The achievement of multi-sensor data fusion is based on the same target, so under the multi-target environment, the characteristics of multi-target need to be distinguished in a certain way, particularly in heterogeneous sensors data fusion. Fortunately, track association provides a method to solve this problem. In this paper, based on the airborne radar and IR sensor, a track association algorithm for heterogeneous sensor is proposed. At first, the discriminant function for track association is given through the research of fuzzy comprehensive theory. Then, the decision criterion, which includes azimuth and elevation, is used to track association. Finally, the simulation results show the effectiveness and practicality of this algorithm.
