Abstract :
The Fourier transform to retrieve Doppler information is used in conventional ISAR imaging. Due to the complex motion of a target, the image is usually blurred. In this paper the application of time-frequency distribution series (TFDS) in ISAR temporal imaging spectrum at maneuvering target is studied. The proposed TFDS is much better than STFT and WVD, which not only keeps good time-frequency concentration but also reduces the interference terms. Simulation data and real data prove this method can obtain clear radar instantaneous image for maneuvering target.
