Abstract
Based on the equivalent squint range model which combines velocities and constant accelerations, a new approach is provided for airborne SAR data processing under maneuvers. The equivalent Doppler parameters varying with platform movement are analyzed, which offered the availability of direct motion compensation of accelerations in image formation. A sub-aperture range Doppler algorithm is proposed to improve image resolutions for airborne squint SAR on platform with constant accelerations. Simulations of point target are implemented to demonstrate the validity of this approach with integrated motion compensation (MOCO) of constant accelerations.
