Abstract
The large growth in commercial GPS systems has had a big impact on the RF section of GPS receivers. The digital interface has moved closer to the front-end and highly integrated RFICs are commonplace in modern GPS receivers. The next generation of RFICs for Navstar´s applications will enable joint GPS and GLONASS operation, minimise power consumption and be optimised for maximum RFI rejection
