Abstract
Based on the imaging geometry of the squint mode, this paper derives a modified range-Doppler (RD) algorithm suited for high squint mode synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imaging in detail. On the basis of the high order range mode, the algorithm realizes the fine focusing of targets by correcting range walk while performing range compression and correcting range curvature in two dimensional frequency domain. The imaging results of simulation and live data demonstrates the theoretical analysis and the method proposed in this paper.
