Abstract :
Under the background of satellite communication, MUSIC algorithm with fast searching strategy is put forward to find the directions of signals for circular array based on directional antennas. The signal model of directional antenna array is given first, on this basis, the MUSIC algorithm is used. Furthermore, two auxiliary angles are introduced and a fast peak searching method is proposed. Simulation results demonstrate the directional antennas can improve the performance of estimation results and the proposed searching method can reduce the searching complexity effectively.
