Abstract
The study state of solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) and hybrid power system in the developed country was investigated in this work. The comparison of various SOFCs and hybrid power systems in different countries is helpful for the development of SOFC. In addition, the effect of the cell structures on the performance of planar SOFC was studied. The performance of single cell with different shapes and different inlet gas channels was obtained by numerical simulation. These results show the voltage loss is enlarged with the increasing of size of the inlet gas channel.
