  • Abstract
    Doppler sensors system is a kind of directional sensing system, and its coverage is different from omnidirectional sensing system. In this paper, we propose a GSACEA (Genetic Simulated Annealing based Coverage-Enhancing Algorithm) for the problem of coverage-enhancing in Doppler sensor networks. GSACEA combines the genetic algorithm and the simulated annealing algorithm into the solution for coverage-enhancing in directional Doppler sensor networks. By simulations, comparing our proposed algorithm with other classic directional sensor networks coverage-enhancing algorithm, GSACEA can achieve higher area coverage rate with lesser iterative computing times.
