Abstract :
A highpass filter with simple structure is reported. The highpass filter use the structure of ridge waveguide and the input and output ports use a new transition. This transition between the ridge waveguide and the coaxial line use some ridge structures with step to achieve a mode converter and modified impedance transformer. Very good performance is confirmed experimentally over a 4:1 bandwide.
